Enjoy the beautiful beaches and tranquil landscape of Kovalam Beachin South India while immersing yourself in the practice of Astanga Yoga under the guidance of master teacher Lino Miele.
The workshop is suitable for all levels: Beginner, Primary, Intermediate, Advanced A and B.
This INTENSIVE WORKSHOP gives students the opportunity to develop a self practice in which breath and movement are systematically brought together. Allowing students to improve concentration, achieve a rhythmical breath, and develop stronger bodies and minds.
The FOCUS of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is breath which draws in energy; the bandhas which contain this energy and direct it throughout the body; the counting of Vinyasa which synchronizes the flow of breath and the flow of the movement in a systematic way. This combination creates a light and dynamic practice. The scientific counting method will be taught to gain precision and clarity of mind.
Lino facilitates the process with his encouragement and perceptive adjustments. The workshop will start with led classes in accordance with Lino’s book, Astanga Yoga, written under the guidance of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois.
The YOGA SPACE: is on the roof top of Peacock Hotel. Nestled in the tropical green of coconut palms and providing a totally secluded and safe area for students to strengthen and deepen their practice.
Bring a yoga mat with you, we do not supply them.

Minimum attendance is one week
A non-refundable deposit of €200 or €400 is required on registration. The balance of payment to be paid on arrival in cash. Tuition fees do not include accommodation.
TRAVEL
Trivandrum is the capital of Kerala and has both domestic and international airports. Take a Prepaid taxi from the airport, ask to be dropped at Peacock Road, Peacock Hotel. (4-500rps.), a 30-40 minute journey. Kovalam has many reasonably priced hotels, it is cheaper to find a room on arrival. The Peacock Hotel has a limited number of rooms.
